Resources for Patient Advocates

Many of us are faced with caring for elderly parents or for friends who are trying to overcome an illness. It can be a daunting task.
1patientadvocate.org is a free website that helps provide resources for patient advocates.

It describes its mission statement as:
" a place for people like you and me. A place where we can share hopes and concerns, with all of us trying to find the best ways to get our patients care, cures and healing.
Important Resources.
This is where you can find books, other websites, anything that may be useful to you as an advocate.
Stories of Empowerment.
You will read stories of marvelous patient advocates who found answers. "

Other sites using blogs to share details of illnesses and to connect with others are: carepages.com and caringbridge.org
