Heart Attack Questions

A 47 year old heart attack survivor has asked me to help him educate others on how to recognize and manage symptoms of heart disease involving coronary artery disease which may lead to heart attacks. Twenty percent of people who suffer their first heart attack, die from this event. Many may have warning symptoms but do not recognize them. Others may have questions which are not fully answered during their visits with their physicians. This website is intended to review some of the most frequently asked questions about heart attacks.

Please let me know if you have any other questions that you feel would be useful to include in this site.

Thanks d. I value your opinion as well. The website was put together by someone else who was willing to put in the work, and I just providede the medical info but I have to take your comment into consideration. Does it make you uncomfortable because you feel that the purpose is commercial? That certainly is not my intention and I would not want any of my readers to feel uncomfortable. Would you have a suggestion about how to put this information out?

Leave the ads in.

If someone is reading about heart disease on a web page, an ad for a blood pressure monitor might get them to buy one and check their blood pressure more often.

The idea that doctors don't get paid for keeping you well, or that authors souldn't get paid for what they write, sounds a little weird to me. The more money comes in, the more incentive the author has to continue writing -- and that may save some lives.
